Abstract:
We consider the growth rate of partial quotients of continued fractions such as the partial maxima and the product of consecutive digits. The study of these growth rates is associated with some problems in Diophantine approximation. We improve some known dimensional results of level sets defined by the growth rate of partial quotients. We extends the related uniform Diophantine approximation of beta-transformation to that of the Gauss map.

余月力，武汉大学副教授，研究领域为分形几何、动力系统、度量数论，在Nonlineaity，Finite Fields Appl.，J. Number Theory等杂志发表论文十余篇，主持或参与多项国家自然科学基金，参与中法蔡元培国家交流项目一项，曾多次应邀赴法国、澳大利亚等国家和地区访问交流。
